The Munchkin Blonde Wig Costume

I think that there’s not a person in America who hasn’t either heard of or watched The Wizard of Oz. If you haven’t seen it on DVD then you’ve probably seen it during the Holiday Season. I know at least where I live that it’s on regular Networks on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

It’s just a go to movie for the Networks along with such classics as Babes in Toyland. Anyway much like the Oompa Loompas that came after them, one of the most recognizable things about the film are the Munchkins so doesn’t it make sense that during Halloween you see both adults and children wandering the streets as the little singers. Their iconic for all of the 5mins that they’re actually in the movie.

While it’s pretty easy to get the clothes together you can’t expect to truly achieve the look without the Munchkin blond wig costume. Without that piece then there’s really no point in dressing up at all. I really wanted to highlight an option that was good for both kids and adults and this is the best one. Because the Munchkins were small the best costumes out there/the majority are for children. But that doesn’t mean that adults shouldn’t be able to join in on the fun. As you can see it’s a blonde/almost orange wig with three big curls on the top. Finishing it off are slight curls on the side. It’s a great copy of the original look.

It’s pretty easy to put on and will cover your forehead making sure that you keep that Munchkin look.
